Government Relations
Office of Research Planning and Government Relations: Identify and secure funding opportunities to advance SIO research priorities; Favorably resolve state and federal regulatory issues that impact SIO; Inform elected officials, agency representatives, congressional committees, and staff about SIO priorities and projects; Raise the profile of SIO, its research and personnel with important legislative branch, executive agency and community representatives; Provide strategic advise to Director and Deputy Director for Research on institutional project, priorities and management.
