This extraordinary, ocean-front historic cottage originally built in 1916, is located under lush cypress trees on the century-old Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus. It will appeal to a broad base of clients that desire a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
The breathtaking view that would make you say "I do". Its rustic charm, the cottage and grounds are ideal for events of 15-130 people, from board meetings to wedding receptions.

• Room for the existing large conference table or up to six 2'x5' rectangular tables or an open layout for larger, stand-up reception.
• Small kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, counters, and microwave, partitioned off from main space
• ADA-equipped, unisex bathrooms with outdoor entrance

Parking

Lots can be reserved (weekends only). Should you need to purchase parking permits, you must contact the UCSD Parking Office, (858) 534-4223. If you need parking/directional signs, you must contact UCSD Field Operation Office, (858) 534-9681 well in advance. Permits need a special stamp from the Special Events Office, or they are not valid. Disabled parking and access to buildings is available. All guests and vendors must have parking permits in their vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: The Martin Johnson House is located on an active university campus with public beaches nearby. Since it is not a private hotel/event property, Scripps cannot guarantee complete quiet and privacy.
