  • Magmatic and tectonic processes at oceanic spreading centers and evolution of ridge-transform plate boundaries, using the following methods: Morphology, gravity, drilling, computer modeling of mantle flow and melting
  • Numerical simulation of mantle deformation and seismic anisotropy
  • Hydroacoustic studies of nuclear test monitoring capabilities
