Measuring Earth's Vital Signs
A research team led by Arnold Gordon, associate director of Ocean and Climate Physics at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University, took R/V Melville to the Philippine Straits for 28 days in June 2007 to study the ocean’s role in Earth’s climate system.
