Happy Birthday, Walter!

Scripps will laud a legend Oct. 19 when it helps Walter Munk celebrate his 90th birthday. The public is welcome to attend a special symposium presented in Walter's honor. Colleagues of Walter's past and present will pay tribute to him by reporting on the latest advances in their own research, much of which owes a considerable nod to his own pioneering work over the decades.

Special Walter Munk 90th Birthday Symposium:
