Corporate partners not only set the research direction but also maintain direct access throughout the scientific process. In return for their capital contribution, members interact with teams of leading earth, ocean, and atmospheric scientists as research proceeds toward the specified deliverables.

The Academic Benefit

Academic partners receive funding for innovative scientific research that makes a global impact. The partnership advances cutting-edge research well beyond what is possible through federal and state funding alone. All SPHEAR-produced research will be submitted for publication in appropriate peer-reviewed journals and communicated to the scientific community. Corporate partners will receive preferential access to the research process. Partners receive regular research reports through the course of the study as well as receiving research results while publication is pending.
