  OFFICE MEMO Sproul cruises Date:7/21/95

I have reviewed our situation with the engineers and PI's involved, and we
have decided that there is a real chance that we will not be ready for the
7th August. Rather than cancel at the last minute, I would like to
re-schedule the cruise now, to move the deployment to the 11th and the
recovery to the 15th. These are 12-hour rather than 24 hour cruises, perhaps
less. I discussed this possibility with Louis and he is happy with this
arrangement.

I will give you a list of names asap. I am waiting for the Navy to give me
the names of their observers.

Thanks,

Steve.
