CHEMISTRY:
  1 ea. AutoAnalyzer system (PO4, Sil, NO2, NO3)

Excerpts of 951103 email message from L. Haury,
updates from conversation by Doug Masten with Dr. Haury:
Set to detect low level fluctuations of nutrients in upper ~100m
        Approximate full scale ranges:
                          Resolution
           NO3 0-10 .01
           NO2 0-1 .01
           PO4 0-1 .01
           SIO3 0-20 .05
SAMPLING:
Calcofi Grid--
Add 4 bottles in the upper 100m. for a total of 24 bottles on rosette at
all stations, to be run on standard AA.

63 stations with 4 extra bottles = 252 added samples

On Line 90, draw extra water from the top 14 bottles to be run for nutrients
on the high resolution AA.

24 Hour stations--
At one nearshore (Line 90) and one offshore station (Line 90 ), will
follow drogue doing CTD/rosette (24 bottle) casts every 3 hours to depth of
about 120m.

2 stations with 8 cast and 24 bottles = 384 samples

Langmuir Circulation--
If weather suitable (wind > 3m/s), will do shallow yoyo rosette casts as
ship quarters slowly crosswind.

3 casts with 24 bottles = 72 samples
